As my title suggests I have a love for shiny things and they needn’t be the kind that you get at Tiffany. My favorite type of jewelry is costume since it can exhibit more character and usually isn’t overtly precious.
One of my favorite designers to date Alexis Bittar. His jewelry has a sculptural element to it, becoming wearable art.
When I do wear gold or silver, I love a vintage inspired, slightly tarnished look. A line that’s caught my eye is Elizabeth and James. I’m a fan of their neo-grunge style, and it’s certainly extended to their jewelry.
